This hostel is exceptionally clean, with friendly staff who offer helpful advice on exploring the area. The free breakfast is a nice touch, and there are washing machines available for guest use. The location is a bit further from the city center, but it is close to the train station and there are bikes available for hire to easily get around. The rooftop terrace offers a great view of passing trains and is a relaxing spot to unwind.
The shared bathroom facilities can be a bit cramped and congested.

I chose Memmoth Hostel in Lampang specifically because it was close to the stunning Wat Si Rong Mueang, which I really wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the other amenities offered, such as the convenient dry cleaning and laundry facilities. The shared lounge and garden also provided a beautiful view of the garden, which I enjoyed. the availability of an American breakfast daily was a nice touch.
Location isn't the best. While it was great for us as we wanted a more relaxed atmosphere, the market was about a 45-minute walk away.

One of the best hostels we've stayed in - hands down! Everything was spotlessly clean and the bedding was soft and comfortable. We loved the spaciousness of the hostel, with a cafe, internal patio, and terrace overlooking the city. the availability of brand new bikes and motorbikes for rent was a huge plus, as we were able to easily explore the city and its surroundings. And the design of the hostel made us feel like we were staying in a trendy boutique hotel. If you want to treat yourself while backpacking, this is the perfect place for a romantic escape.
While the location is convenient for those arriving by train or planning to visit the night market, it is a bit far from the city center. So, if you don't have your own transportation, you may find it difficult to get around.

I got amazing value for my money at Memmoth Hostel In. The room was cozy and well-decorated, and the location was great with a lively morning market just behind the hostel.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Our room at Memmoth Hostel in Lampang was absolutely amazing! We had a twin room with a balcony where we could relax and enjoy the view. The tumble dryer and air conditioning were great conveniences. The seating area made it feel like a cozy home away from home. The complimentary toiletries and hair dryer in the bathroom were a nice touch.
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the double room to be a bit lacking. But hey, that's just me!
